Registration Fees

Registration fees include 21 % VAT.

Note: Payments must be received by the corresponding deadlines (early or late), otherwise the subsequent rate will be automatically applied.

The registration fee includes:

• Access to Sessions
• Admission to the Exhibition area and Poster session
• Meeting Materials
• Welcome drink
• Refreshment during coffee breaks and lunch

Student Travel Award

A Student Travel Award Scheme is available from ISCE. For student travel awards, the application deadline is 31 March 2024, please read the requirements here.

ISCE Family Fund Travel Grant

The ISCE wishes to promote the participation of young chemical ecologists in our meetings, in this case through the partial support of members who struggle between early parenting and career development. To do this, we created the ISCE Family Fund Travel Grant.

For each annual meeting, we will offer three awards of USD 500 specifically allocated to offset childcare costs. Funds can be used to help cover additional travel expenses for an accompanying caregiver, or to cover expenses for local childcare in the vicinity of the meeting location. At this time, these are the expenses this grant can cover. We hope to be able to offer more flexibility on fund use in the future as the grant program grows.

Eligibility:

• The applicant must be a current member of the ISCE and an ISCE member in the preceding calendar year.
• The applicant cannot be a member of the executive committee of ISCE or a current councilor (see our conflict of interest policy).
• The applicant must complete and submit the application using the Google form at the link below.

Application Requirements:

Please complete and submit the application using this Google form. Information shared on the form will be kept confidential and will be reviewed by a small committee overseen by the current ISCE Treasurer. Questions regarding the award should be addressed to the Treasurer.

The application deadline is 14 June 2024.

How to Register

To register for the Meeting, please fill in the online Registration Form. The registration process consists of three easy steps:

1.  Fill out the Personal data form and receive a password
2.  Click the Registration button and choose your registration fee
3.  Pay online by debit/credit card or by bank transfer

Methods of Payment

Registration fees must be paid in EUR by one of the following methods:

1. Credit or Debit Card (preferred option)

For credit or debit card payments, please use the Online Payment System. The system is accessible with the password that you received upon registration.
The system accepts the following credit/debit cards: MasterCard/Eurocard and Visa.

2. Bank Transfer

The bank details including the 10-digit payment identifier will be automatically sent to your e-mail address after submitting the online form.
Please note that payments without this payment identifier will not be identified and the registration will not be confirmed.

Please note that bank transfer payments will only be accepted by 1 June 2024. After this date, only payments by credit/debit cards will be accepted using the Online Payment System.

All bank transfer amounts should be minus bank charges. Any banking fees accrued from the transfer is the responsibility of each party.

Final Invoice

The final invoice will be sent automatically to your e-mail address within 14 days from the receipt of the payment.

Cancellations and Refunds

The ISCE 2024 Secretariat must be notified in writing by e-mail at isce@guarant.cz in the event of the cancellation of the registration. Cancellation by phone call will not be accepted. The appropriate refunds will be made after the Meeting.

The following cancellation conditions apply:

In case of any change in registration, GUARANT International reserves the right to charge a 30 EUR handling fee.

In case of cancellation of the event due to force majeure, GUARANT International reserves the right to charge a 30 EUR handling fee.

Name Change

If you are prevented from attending, you will be given the opportunity to send a colleague in your place. A handling fee of 30 EUR will be charged for each name change. Name changes should be reported in writing to the ISCE Secretariat at isce@guarant.cz. No name change will be possible after 1 June 2024.

Visa Requirements

Invitation letters for visa purposes can only be sent to participants who have completed the registration process. Further information regarding visa requirements can be found here.
